Enjoy Pierre's cuisine, in a spirited yet classically cozy atmosphere. Pierre's cuisine is French oriented, using local purveyors.

Pierre's restaurant can accommodate special events for 120 persons lunch or dinner, 160 for cocktail parties. Reserve early for Pierre's private lounge, seats up to 18.

Guess who is cooking tonight?

It all started with a simple request. One of our customers wanted to offer her family and friends a special dinner to celebrate her husband’s birthday. No problem, I replied, we do that all the time.

Then she mentioned that, what would really please him, is a dish that his mother used to cook in his youth. Why not, I thought. The french know how to cook, right? I want “Duszonna Wolomina W Potrawce Grzybowej” she said. Seriously. His mother’s specialty. And for dessert, “Leniwe Pierogi.” I found out that she was Polish, and I got a bit nervous.

What about a steak frite? I asked. (Hey, you never know!) And ice cream for dessert? Ouch, wrong pick. Head down, I went to the kitchen to talk to my chef, expecting the worst.

Well, to make a long story short, this wonderful lady ended up in the kitchen on the day of the party. And it was a lot of fun. The food was so original, and my chef had a blast. The variation of the Beef Stroganoff and Quenelles of Sweet Cheese reminded me of some of my early experiences in the kitchen with my grandmother.

And then came the idea… anyone could do the same, and be a Chef for one day!

Imagine your favorite dish enjoyed by your family, friends and all the customers in the restaurant that night. Imagine the final act before the curtains goes down: the chef cruising through the restaurant to the applause of the crowd…

Imagine even better, having a dinner party and not doing the dishes. This is not a daydream and here is how we will do that.

First, you will spend a little time with me to put together a menu of your favorite recipes. We will keep it cost effective so it will be featured in the Prix Fixe.

Then Pierre’s crew, will take care of the preparation, under your instructions, of course!

On THE day of your party, you will spend a little bit of time with us in the kitchen (not much), just for the show. Yes you will get a chef’s hat and it will be a high one.

For one night, you will be more popular that all the Daniel, Jean-Georges, Ducasse and all the big shots put together! So team up with your better half, a good friend or just you. And this can be done at any day of the week or weekend.
